![]() ![]() Is that spring, all springs do set or sag. No fully conclusive answer.īut! What is fact. But many disagree and have tested for and against it. What that is, is a spring is a tension device to use or prevent applied force and some times used to apply energy from a force.Ī common much discussed debate in the firearm community is speings wear out. Is i believe it may be due to what is know as spring set or spring sag. From leafs, to shocks and struts, to spacers to difs, trannys, engines and axles. Or having Chevy literally replace 80% of their truck and still not fix it. I have also read many of guys taking it to the dealer and either getting the finger. Well my tank is almost literally empty and I am not in the car so that can't be it lolĪnother thing I see people say is the way the frame is produced that some are tweaker or get tweaked. But they say it's always due to driver + a full tank. I've also see many guys say that is the problem. I do realize Chevy decided to place the gas tank on the driver side, which also happens to be the side that's leaning. But Chevy guys like to bash their own case. I came across tons of tundra and f150 complains of the same nature. So I got to researching the "chevy lean". Well that's kind of annoying being I just bought a leveling kit to level my truck out. I now have almost a literal inch of sag/lean to my rear fender. My truck a month ago just after the level kit Then finally I get the energy and get under the truck again just to check and then measure it out. I say ok when I get home I'm busting out the tape measure and seeing for sure. Well a few days later again in my spot it's doing a lean. 2,xxx miles and maybe all of 4 medium loads. Now in my driveway (sloped facing in) it doesn't look wacky to me. So under the truck I go and start making sure everything is to spec as per manual. I start thinking, God dam it! It's probably that level kit I installed. ![]() Again the other day I see it and say man that really looks like it's leaning. We don't have the most leveled lot so I shrug it off. So for the past 2 weeks, I've noticed my truck seems to be leaning more and more towards my drive side when backed into my work spot.
